[Case Study] Picking System for EC Logistics Center

We would like to introduce a case where our "wearable terminals" were implemented at an EC logistics center. The customer had already established a WMS and was managing products. As a current challenge, they were considering the adoption of wearable terminals to improve the efficiency of operations (picking) within the center. The implementation site had picking operations in a three-temperature area, and there was no wireless environment within the warehouse. [Effects After Implementation] ■ Ambient Temperature Area - Work efficiency improved Average work time (per instance): 30 to 40 minutes (average reduction of 40%) - With both hands available, items can be carried immediately after barcode scanning, making the work easier. ■ Frozen Area - Work efficiency improved Average work time (per instance): 20 minutes (average reduction of 25%) - It became possible to perform picking operations simultaneously while collecting items. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
